Before you connect

01Can it read my direct messages?

No. Direct messages are never offered in the chat picker and are never read.

02Can it post or mark anything as me?

No. Every write call is blocked in code. The sole exception is auth.LogOut when you disconnect or delete your data.

03Is this against Telegram's terms?

It is a gray area. Reading chats through a personal account via the API is not explicitly sanctioned. Read-only access and immediate deletion reduce risk but cannot remove it.

04What does the language model see?

Allowlisted chat content is sent to the currently configured model provider when a Digest is generated. blablabot does not persist source messages or generated Digest text; provider retention and training follow the selected provider and account terms.

05What if I want out?

Choose Delete my data and confirm. After a protected deletion record is verified off-box, active blablabot data is deleted even if Telegram logout fails; if it does, revoke authorization in Telegram Settings > Devices. Backups expire within 14 days and deletion records within 30 days.
